Pastor's Invitation

I would like to invite you to come and worship with us at Spirit of God Christian Church (SGCC).  It would be an honor to have you with us as we worship Almighty God.  I want you to know that you are ALWAYS WELCOME at SGCC.  However, you will not always feel comfortable because the Word of God is not always comfortable.  When we encounter the Word of God we should experience both comfort and discomfort. Comfort in the absolute fact that God loves us all and prepared a way for us to experience the best life possible through Jesus Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit our guide.  Discomfort in the absolute fact that change is needed in all of our lives to align ourselves completely with the Word of God. 

Here at SGCC God is challenging us not to just have church but to be the church, not to be religious but to be in relationship with God. We are NOT a (insert any race, color, or denomination here) church.  We simply are aspiring to be the kind of church that Christ is coming back for and that pleases God.  I want you to know that you are invited to be a permanent part of this church and this move of God in the earth.   Come hear what God has to say to you about building a better relationship with him and fulfilling the purpose of your life.  It is our belief that when you leave our worship service that you will not be the same because of the Word and Spirit of God.
