A Year of Transformation--God’s doing a New Thing
Transformation Requires:
- Christ not Conformity-I must receive Christ as Lord and no longer conform to the world’s ways
- Challenging Myself-I must challenge myself to be better and be the person that God created me to be
- Changing My Ways-stop doing things that God would not approve of or be pleased with
- Conviction but not Condemnation-allow the Holy Spirit to convict me of sin but do not wallow in condemnation
- Commitment to Consistency-stay on course in your walk with God; it's a race of endurance
The New thing that God will do requires:
- Perception (I must Pay Attention)
- Path Placement (I must follow the path God chooses for me)
- Provision (I must receive whatever God provides for me)
- Praise (I must praise Him but others will too)

God’s Love and Truth Protects
Psalm 40:11
This is a cry from the Psalmist for God’s mercy, love, truth and protection. We too at times in our lives must learn to make our plea to God for all of these things and more. Many people have bought into the lies of the enemy and do not cry out to, beseech or plea to God for the things that only God can provide. I don’t know if it is fear, pride or being to intimidated to approach God about our needs, but we must learn to get past that kind of mentality and behavior. God already knows our needs before we ask Him but God desires that we, out of our personal relationship with Him, approach Him about everything that we need. We need to tell God our needs even though He knows our needs.
